Authenticity
Are these products genuine?
Yes. Every item is genuine SkinCeuticals stock in its original factory-sealed carton, with the batch code intact. We check the code and the expiry date before each order goes out. We are an independent reseller and are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by SkinCeuticals or L'Oreal.
Can I verify the batch code myself?
Yes, and we encourage it. Email us before or after your order and we will photograph the code on your specific bottle. You can check it against SkinCeuticals customer service directly.
Why is the serum darker than I expected?
Pure vitamin C darkens as it oxidises, and it begins doing so slowly from the moment it is made. A light amber or slightly deeper tone is normal and the formula still works. If a bottle arrives distinctly brown, send it back.
Price
Why are you so much cheaper than the counter?
Because we do not run a clinic. No treatment room, no consultation, no beauty-hall commission, and none of that overhead priced into the bottle. What you are paying for at a dermatologist's front desk is partly the formula and partly the room you are standing in.
Is the size the same as at the counter?
Yes. Every serum listed here is the full retail 30 ml / 1 fl oz size, not a travel or sample size.
Using the products
How long do they last once opened?
SkinCeuticals sets a 12-month period-after-opening on these formulas. Keep them capped, upright, and out of direct sun. A bathroom windowsill is the worst place in the house for a vitamin C serum.
Can I use vitamin C and Discoloration Defense together?
Yes, and they work well together. Vitamin C in the morning under sunscreen, Discoloration Defense morning and night. Apply thinnest texture first and give each layer a moment to settle.
Which vitamin C serum should I choose?
C E Ferulic suits normal, dry and combination skin. Phloretin CF is built for oily and discoloration-prone skin. They do the same job; the difference is the base and the concentration.
How long until I see a difference?
Tone and brightness usually shift first, around weeks two to four. Firmness and fine lines take longer. Judge any of these at eight weeks rather than eight days.
I have sensitive skin or I am pregnant. Can I use these?
We sell skincare, we do not give medical advice. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, under a dermatologist's care, or have reactive skin, check with your own doctor before starting any active ingredient.
Shipping and returns
How fast do you ship?
Orders placed before 2pm CT leave the same business day, otherwise the next one. Delivery takes two to five business days anywhere in the US. Shipping is free with no minimum.
Do you ship outside the US?
Not at the moment. Everything ships domestically within the United States.
What is your return policy?
Unopened, factory-sealed items can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. Email us and we will send return instructions the same day. Opened items cannot be returned for hygiene reasons unless the product arrived damaged or is not what you ordered.
My order arrived damaged. What now?
Email us a photo of the bottle and the carton within 48 hours of delivery. We will replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer, and we cover the return postage.
